Maddie co-facilitated and led the Bristol version of this nationwide campaign for Oxfam, performing a staged auction in a public space to highlight the illegal practice of international land grabbing.

We researched the language and structure of auction houses and created a mock pop-up auction in the city centre, selling off parts of the Bristol. Members of the public were invited to bid for whole areas, landmarks, lampposts and paving stones- at ridiculous prices.
